Relationships are a mirror

Everybody has issues within themselves. There will be conflict between two people that each have a brain. It is inevitable. Hollywood will make you believe there is this one perfect person that heavens will open up and a light will shine on them and all will be perfect. They call them a soul mate.
It is an unrealistic portrayal of relationships. With African spirituality there is the knowledge that everyone is an aspect of the source. Another way of saying that is we are reflections of that source.
A deeper way the ancient Africans saw this idea is that each of us is a symbol of the source in a different form. In ancient Kemetic science the source is all there is and it is today what we call vibration.
That means that anyone you are in a relationship with is a reflection of the source that is symbolic of your vibration.
Anyone that is in your experience is on some level symbolic of the essence of who you are, which is vibration.
The ancient Africans wouldn’t say you attract people to you. They would say those people emerged into an environment that was created by your vibration. They are you. They are you in another form or reflection.
With that said, understand this. Anyone that you are in a relationship with is going to have issues. Make no mistake about it. Understand that all relationships or a lack of them are a reflection of your essence.
You can be quick to give up on relationships as many people are these days. But understand that any issues you have will be worked out with the person that you are with or you will work them out with the next person.
Why? Because you will always create the essence of you for feedback. You learn about yourself through your relationships.
The Ancient African idea is a more empowering perspective. You have to take responsibility for what is in your life on all levels because you are the creator of it.
As a Christian we can get so messed up in relationships because we believe if we are right or righteous god will take care of the other person and do the work to change their heart. It’s not my intention to attack Christianity. It’s simply to show a contrast in thinking that many of us have.
We can keep meeting the same challenges in our relationships and never take responsibility for our part. But the ancient African way is a framework that will empower you to make effective and empowered change in your life.
